The Glentoran Community Trust were delighted to assist Glens manager Eddie Patterson with the signing of Barry Holland and Kym Nelson on professional contracts.
With proceeds from the La Mon Hotel Boxing event, the GCT will provide £6,000 to retain the services of both players for the 2014/15 season.
Indeed, the Trust had offered to provide a further £2,000 in the failed attempt to bring Cairan Caldwell to the club last Friday.
