Glentoran Community Trust are delighted to announce the hosting of a ‘Vienna Cup’ Gala Dinner, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Glentoran Football Club lifting the famous old Trophy in the Austrian capital 1914 – to be held at Belfast City Hall on Saturday 1st November 2014.
The venue has already been secured, and will include a City Hall wine reception, 4 course Gala Dinner, guest speakers, and a ‘Big Band’ experience. The GCT have also agreed to supply a first team ‘Retro Shirt’, which will be worn by the Glens in their game v Ballymena Utd at the Oval that day – the shirts to be retained by the GCT and sold individually to help fund the event.
Demand for this event is expected to be high, and numbers may well be limited, so please keep an eye on the site in the coming weeks for further details and pricing.
