Vienna Cup Dinner – Belfast City Hall update

Glentoran Community Trust are delighted to announce that we are now in a position to take advance bookings for the “Vienna Cup Celebratory Dinner”, to be held at Belfast City Hall on Saturday 1st November 2014.

The event will begin at 7.30pm with a complimentary Wine Reception, followed by a 4 course Dinner in the Great Hall, which, in keeping with the historical Belfast theme, will follow the menu of the final meal served on the illustrious RMS Titanic.

The Vienna Cup will of course be in attendance, and after welcoming our guests, we will relive the story of the intrepid journey of Glentoran Football Club into Europe in 1914, and the capture of the Vienna Cup, narrated by Belfast actor & playwright Dan Gordon (TBC).

The evening then moves to our musical entertainment, Jazz and Swing sessions from our very own 10-piece Big Band, and melodies from Northern Ireland’s very own 5 piece all girl vocalists “The Swing Gals”!

A late bar is also in place.

Please Note:

The GCT are firmly of the opinion that this particular function is not about raising money, it’s about celebrating the heritage of our great football club, and an opportunity to acknowledge one of the most memorable moments in the history of Irish League Football – something that belongs to all of us.

Glentoran supporters haven’t had a lot to smile about of late, and we want to give as many fans as possible the opportunity to come along and enjoy a wonderful celebration in the majestic setting of Belfast City Hall.

That being the case we have kept the price down to a minimum…

The meals are costing us £35pp, and entertainment £1,000.
Based on an projected attendance of 100, we are selling this event at COST PRICE.

Individual tickets will cost £45, while tables of 10 can be booked for £450 (we will seat tables closest to the front as the orders come in). Tickets are not yet printed, but should be available from next week and are available to pre-order from today.

Ticket orders can be placed by approaching any GCT Board member, by emailing info@gctni.com, or via our facebook page.
